Tonight at personal finance class there were a lot of comments about how different families taught their children about finances as they were growing up. This inspired me to do more with the children to help them understand our finances.
For FHE I'm going to show the children a pie chart showing how much of our income is spent on what items. I'm also going to show them the food budget and get them to help me keep track of how much money we have for the rest of the month. And I'm going to add a budget update to our family council.
